
Lancers Roll Past Force, 5-1

Omaha Lancers News Release
RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers took down the Fargo Force by a final score of 5-1 on Sunday evening.
In the first period, Kyle Bettens (:39) snapped the puck in between the legs of Andrew Miller to get Omaha ahead 1-0. Minutes later, Fargo would even the game at 4:11. The Lancers would go on their first power-play of the night when Tyler Carpenter (5:07) ripped the puck past Miller to get Omaha ahead 2-1.
Late in the second frame, Lancer's newcomer Liam Devlin (19:24) netted the puck past Miller on a 3-on-1 making the score 3-1.
In the final frame, the Lancers netted two empty-net goals. Ryan Lautenbach at 16:36 and Kyle Bettens at 17:10 to take a 5-1 victory over Fargo. Jakub Dobes stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced in tonight's contest.

The Lancers are now 3-1 on the season. They will return to the ice on Saturday to face the Des Moines Buccaneers. Puck drop is at 6:05 PM.
