Lancers Resume Battle with the Lincoln Stars Before a Home-And-Home with the Des Moines Buccaneers

OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers will take on the Lincoln Stars Friday night (3/22), where they will look to help extend Lincoln's 6-game losing streak. However, the Lancers could also end up unintentionally helping Lincoln this weekend by handing Des Moines a couple of losses as both Des Moines and Lincoln are jockeying for the 6th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
OMAHA VS. LINCOLN SO FAR:
This Friday night (3/22) will be the final Lancers-Stars game at Liberty First Credit Union Arena this season. The Lancers have obtained all 3 of their wins against the Stars this season on home ice. The Lancers also recorded an impressive shooting percentage of 19% against Lincoln net-minder Yan Shostak last week in Omaha's 4-3 overtime win.

OMAHA VS. DES MOINES SO FAR:
The Lancers will take on the Des Moines Buccaneers Saturday night in Urbandale, Iowa (3/23) and Sunday back at Liberty First Credit Union Arena (3/24). The Lancers and Buccaneers have been very even in the month of March in the tier one era with the Lancers holding a 9-9-0-0 record against the Bucs. However, the Lancers have had their struggles with the Des Moines Buccaneers in recent memory with Omaha falling to the Bucs 13 of the last 18 tries.

Buccaneer goalie Ethan Dahlmeir leads all USHL net-minders in the number of games with a .900 save percentage or better with 23.
Des Moines has scored the fewest goals in the second period of play this season with just 41.
