RALSTON, NE - The Lancers were edged out by the Fargo Force on Saturday night at Ralston Arena by a final score of 4-3.

In the first period, Logan Will (2:45) snuck the puck between the legs of Ryan Bischel to get the Lancers ahead 1-0. The Force answered back when Tyler Gratton (8:18) evened the game 1-1.

Late into the second period and as the penalty-kill expired, Brendan Furry (16:47) charged out of the box to get the puck on the breakaway. Furry then sniped the puck past Bischel to get the Lancers ahead 2-1. The Force answered back to regain the lead with two more goals to finish off the second period and to hold a 3-2 lead going into the second intermission.

In the third period, Aleksi Peltonen (1:28) scored to get the game tied up 3-3. The goal was the first of the year for Peltonen in his second game. Fargo took the lead back when Ryan O'Reilly (4:29) scored. The Force edged the Lancers by a final score of 4-3. The Lancers are now 6-11-0-2 on the season with 14 points and sit at 7th place in the Western Conference.

The Lancers return to action on Friday, November 30th to take on the Lincoln Stars at the Ice Box. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 pm. All of the action can be caught on KOIL 1290 AM and HockeyTV.
