Lancer Second Period Upends Hawks

Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Kyle Reeds provided the lone offensive highlight Tuesday as Omaha defeated the Black Hawks 2-1.
Reeds' goal came off a deflection following a Waterloo powerplay late in the first. As in the previous meeting at the Mid-America Center, a two-goal second period proved to be Waterloo's undoing. Neither team found the net in the third, although several stops by Ryan Rondeau kept the Black Hawks within striking distance.
The Black Hawks are on the road Friday to meet Sioux Falls and return to Young Arena against the Chicago Steel on Saturday.
