Lakeland Magic and Mosaic Announce Hoops for Hunger Program Renewed for 2021-22 Season

Lakeland, Fla. - The Hoops for Hunger program was designed in partnership with the Lakeland Magic and The Mosaic Company to help raise money to provide meals to local children in need. For every three-point shot made by the Magic during the 2020-21 season, $150 was donated to the Hoops for Hunger program. The program supports KidsPACK and One More Child, local non-profits aimed at decreasing food insecurity for the children of Central Florida. Throughout the 2020-21 season, Mosaic donated a total $50,100 through the Hoops for Hunger program.
The Lakeland Magic and Mosaic have renewed their commitment to the cause for the 2021-22 season and are once again raising their donation amount per three-point shot made. For every three-point shot made by the Magic at the RP Funding Center this season, $200 will go to the Hoops for Hunger program, an increase of $50 from previous seasons. The program will continue to benefit KidsPACK and One More Child.
