Lake Monsters Parking Advisory And Promotions For Upcoming Homestand

August 27, 2009 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Vermont Lake Monsters News Release

Due to University of Vermont soccer games at historic Centennial Field this Friday, Sunday and Tuesday, the Vermont Lake Monsters would like to advise all of their fans who plan on attending the New York-Penn League games those nights that parking in the Centennial Field lots will be more limited than usual.

Lake Monster fans are encouraged to park at the Gutterson Fieldhouse parking garage and take the shuttle down to Centennial Field due to the more-than-usual limited number of spaces in the Centennial parking lots due to the soccer games, which should be ending around 6:00 pm on Friday, 3:30 pm on Sunday and 5:00 pm on Tuesday.

In addition, the Colchester Avenue entrance to Centennial Field will be closed until 5:00 pm on Friday, 3:00 pm on Sunday and 5:00 pm on Tuesday. Anyone needing to enter the field before those times, should use the East Avenue entrance.

The Lake Monsters would also like to make fans aware of a change in game times for Wednesday, September 2nd. Due to a suspended game at Tri-City on August 23rd, the Lake Monsters and ValleyCats will complete the suspended seven-inning game (which was stopped in the top of the third inning with Vermont leading 3-0) at Centennial Field on Wednesday beginning at 6:05 pm.

About 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game Vermont and Tri-City will begin the regularly-scheduled game, which will now be a seven-inning contest. For anyone with tickets to the September 2nd game, there is no additional charge to see the completion of the suspended game.
