Lake Erie Monsters Playoff Schedule Updated for Potential Game 7

CLEVELAND - With the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lake Erie Monsters in the midst of deep playoff runs, and with an extremely busy event calendar at Quicken Loans Arena, the Monsters, Cavaliers and The Q announced tonight that it's become necessary to relocate the potential Game 7 home game of the Monsters' American Hockey League Division Finals series vs. the Grand Rapids Griffins. The game, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 17th at The Q, will be moved to Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Wednesday, May 18th at 7:30 pm. Nationwide Arena is home to the Monsters' official NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Events scheduled at The Q next week include the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 on Tuesday, May 17th, a Carrie Underwood concert on Wednesday, May 18th and Cavaliers NBA Eastern Conference Finals Game 2 on Thursday, May 19th. The Monsters' Game 7 will only be played if necessary as the Monsters currently lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Game 6 set for Monday, May 16th in Grand Rapids.

The Monsters will be the home team at Nationwide Arena, and fans can expect a high-energy entertainment experience at its parent club's NHL arena.

MONSTERS HOCKEY CLUB MEMBERS GAME INFORMATION:

Monsters Hockey Club Members will receive an e-mail with details outlining their opportunity to purchase specially-priced tickets through an exclusive presale Monday, May 16th from 11:30 am-3:00 pm. The Monsters will also provide the opportunity for Monsters Hockey Club members to travel on the #BattleTogether Fan Bus to Columbus. Details on the Fan Bus opportunity and pricing on the presale will be outlined in an email all members will receive on Monday.

GENERAL PUBLIC TICKET DETAILS AND GAME INFORMATION:

Tickets for the general public will go on sale Monday, May 16th at 3:00 pm (B3000. Ticket prices are $25 (lower bowl, side) and $15 (lower bowl ends) with CBJ Student Rush tickets available at the box office on game day for $10. If needed, additional tickets on the AEP Power Level (upper bowl) will be made available for $10.

BROADCAST INFORMATION:

Game 7 will be broadcast in the Columbus and Cleveland areas on FOX Sports Ohio, the official television partner of the Blue Jackets and Monsters. The game can also be heard on the radio in Cleveland on ESPN 850 WKNR, the radio flagship of the Monsters.
