
AHL's Central Division Finals Game 7 to be Played in Columbus, If Necessary

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... If necessary, Game 7 of the American Hockey League's Central Division Finals between the Lake Erie Monsters and the Grand Rapids Griffins would be played Wednesday, May 18, at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the league announced today.
The Monsters currently lead the best-of-seven series, three games to two. Game 6 is Monday night in Grand Rapids.
Game 7 had originally been scheduled for Tuesday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, which is now scheduled to host a Cleveland Cavaliers NBA playoff game that evening.
Game time on Wednesday will be 7:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio. Fans can visit www.lakeeriemonsters.com for ticket information.
The Monsters are the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. The Griffins are the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings.
