
LaGrave Field to Host Celebrity Softball Game During Super Week

On Thursday, February 3rd, LaGrave Field, the historic home of the Fort Worth Cats, will host the Bad Boy Mowers Celebrity Softball Classic benefiting the Tara Sawyer Foundation. Local sports icons and celebrities will take the field for this wonderful Super Week event. Names include:
-current and former Texas Rangers Ian Kinsler, Tommy Hunter, Darren Oliver, Steve Buechele, and Rusty Greer.
-former Dallas Cowboys' Hall of Famer Randy White, Everson Walls, and Mike Renfro.
-current and former NFL players such as Hall of Famer Darrell Green, Seattle's Justin Forsett and New Orleans' Chase Daniel.
-current Miss Texas Ashley Melnick, who finished in the top 12 at the 2011 Miss America pageant.
-plus others to be announced pending confirmation.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with the game beginning at 5 p.m. After the game, country music great Mark Chesnutt will perform in concert, followed by a grand finale fireworks show over LaGrave Field. Tickets are only $25, with VIP tickets also available for $125, which includes passes to the VIP tent for autographs, food catered by Buttons, reserved seating and parking.
