
Labatt Post-Game Concert To Feature The Jets

Syracuse, NY (September 11, 2003) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that The Jets, one of the most popular family bands since the introduction of The Jackson 5 and The Osmonds, will perform during the Labatt Post-Game Concert following the Crunch's special Express Mart 10th Anniversary Opening Night game on October 11 against the Hershey Bears. Presented by Labatt, Syracuse New Times, Classic Rock TK99 and Sunny 102, The Jets will hold an hour long concert following the game.
The Jets were formed in 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah and made their public debut in 1985. With an incredible six year run, from 1985-1991, The Jets had eight national top ten records and sold in excess of five million albums worldwide. Their hits like, "Make It Real" and "You Got It All" are still being played today in light rotation on adult contemporary radio stations across the nation.
The Jets also enjoyed four World Tours, two USO Tours for the U.S. Military in Asia and Europe and performed at State and County Fairs and Festivals in all fifty states in the United States, Canada and Europe. They've made many national television and press appearances, including Oprah Winfrey, Good Morning America, People Magazine and USA Today.
The Jets are still performing and touring with a few changes in the lineup. The band now consists of two original members and their six younger brothers and sisters. The band, while continuing to play their top hits, have come to master the Pop & Dance Hits of the 60's though today's Top 40.
