Barons Search for New PA Announcer

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons announced today that Public Address Announcer Mike Hadl has stepped down from his position. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Cleveland Barons, made the announcement.

"After eleven years it is time for me to take a break," stated Hadl. "I am going to step back and become fan for a while. I will miss the organization as they treated me well over the years."

"It was a great joy to have Mike Hadl as a member of this organization," stated Lehr. "Mike's professionalism will be greatly missed, as will his voice which gave Barons Hockey a unique personality."

The Barons are actively pursuing to fill the position. All those interested in the opening are to send their audition tapes to the Cleveland Barons front offices located on 200 Huron Road, Cleveland, OH 44115.

The Barons open up the season at home on October 11th at 7:00pm. Group tickets for the game are now available by calling the Barons ticket staff at 216-420-0000.
