
LA Sparks Announce 2018 Preseason Schedule

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Sparks today announced the 2018 preseason schedule, which will feature three games against the Connecticut Sun, the New York Liberty, and the Chinese National Team.
The Sparks and the Sun will tip off the preseason at 4:00pm PST on Monday, May 7, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, the Sparks will then play again on Tuesday, May 8 at 2:00pm PST vs. the New York Liberty at the same arena. Following their road trip, the Sparks will head home to play their final preseason game against the Chinese National Team on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00pm PST, at Pasadena City College.

The Sparks, three-time WNBA Champions, won back-to-back WNBA titles in 2001 and 2002 and added their third title in 2016. The Sparks have qualified for the postseason a WNBA record 17 times. Led by WNBA 2016 Finals MVP Candace Parker, WNBA MVP Nneka Ogwumike, Sixth Woman of the Year Jantel Lavender and First Team All Defense Alana Beard, the Sparks will look to match the league record of four League Titles set by the Houston Comets.
