
LA Galaxy Name Juan Jose Romero Goalkeeper Coach

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy announced today that Guillermo Barros Schelotto has hired Juan José Romero as the club's Goalkeeper Coach.
Romero, 39, joins Schelotto and the Galaxy after serving on his staff for two and a half seasons at Boca Juniors. Prior to that, Romero was a member of the Argentina National Team staff. He worked for four years with La Albiceleste, ending his national team stint with a runner-up finish in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Romero and recently announced assistant coaches Gustavo Barros Schelotto, Ariel Pereyra and fitness coach Javier Valdecantos all join Guillermo from Boca Juniors, where they won two Argentine Primera Divisi?"n championships together.
Schelotto and his staff will begin the season with the 2019 Home Opener when the Galaxy host Chicago Fire on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. PT. Tickets to that match are on sale now, available here.
