
LA Galaxy II Continue Three-Game Road Trip against Arizona United SC on Saturday

CARSON, Calif. "" LA Galaxy II (8-4-3, 27 points) will continue its three-game road swing when the club travels to Peoria, Arizona to take on Arizona United SC (4-6-2, 14 points) at the Peoria Sports Complex on Saturday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. PT. All of the action will be streamed live on lagalaxy.com.
LA Galaxy II picked up their second consecutive loss as they fell 3-0 to the Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, SC last Saturday. A couple of days before, LA Galaxy II saw their three-game winning streak come to an end with a 2-1 loss to the Rochester Rhinos at StubHub Center's main stadium June 11.
Led by head coach Michael Dellorusso, Arizona United enter the match after being eliminated from the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday night following a 2-1 loss to Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy in front of 4,018 fans at the Peoria Sports Complex. Arizona United SC captain Matt Kassel put the home side up a goal heading into the halftime break, but a second-half brace from LA Galaxy midfielder Gyasi Zardes ultimately ended Arizona United SC's run in the fourth round of the 101-year-old tournament.
Saturday's match marks the second time Los Dos will meet Arizona United in USL PRO regular season action. In their first meeting, LA Galaxy Homegrown Player Raul Mendiola scored his first professional goal as LA Galaxy II drew Arizona United 1-1 at the Peoria Sports Complex in front of 2,818 fans. Last Saturday, Arizona, who currently sit in 10th place in the USL PRO standings, defeated the Rochester Rhinos as Arizona forward Jonathan Top's penalty in the 75th minute propelled United SC to a 1-0 win in Arizona.
Curt Onalfo's squad will conclude the three-game road swing against Orlando City SC on Saturday, June 28 at 4:30 p.m. PT at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
