LA Galaxy Defenders Jalen Neal and Marcus Ferkranus Called up to U.S. U-20 Men's Youth National Team for Final Training Camp of 2022

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy defenders Jalen Neal and Marcus Ferkranus were called up by the United States U-20 Men's Youth National for its final training camp of the year at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas. Neal and Ferkranus are two of 16 players called in by head coach Mikey Varas for the training camp , set for Oct. 25 - Nov. 6.
Neal, 19, made 21 appearances (20 starts) for LA Galaxy II during the 2022 USL Championship campaign. Ferkranus, 19, made seven appearance (4 starts) for Los Dos, before playing nine games (4 starts) on loan with Phoenix Rising FC in the USL Championship this year.
The senior USMNT will also be in Frisco from Oct. 25-Nov. 5, holding fitness workouts for MLS-based players in contention for the World Cup roster and no longer in league competition.
