Grand Junction Jackalopes News Release
Today, the Pioneer Baseball League announced that Grand Junction Rockies President Joe Kubly has been named the 2018 PBL Executive Of The Year. Joe leads a front office team that has increased attendance, sponsorships, and concessions sales in each of the three years of his tenure. The club set a single-game attendance record in 2018 and hosted the annual Pioneer Baseball League vs Northwest League All-Star Game, which was televised nationally for the first time. Under Joe's leadership, all GJ Rockies home games are televised live locally and replayed regionally on AT&T SportsNet. Joe and the staff's efforts continually grow the GJ Rockies brand on the Western Slope of Colorado to a 90-mile radius. The club has given back over $100,000 to the communities in each of the last two years.
