Krause Extends Hit Streak in Boulders' Loss to Capitales

Kevin Krause extended his hitting streak to 10 games on Monday as the Boulders fell to the Québec Capitales at home, 10-4. He went 3-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored, hitting three of Rockland's six hits.

Krause also added on to his on base streak, now reaching base safely 12 games in a row.

The Boulders gave up five home runs to the Capitales in a game where Québec scored in all but three innings. Starter Justin Brantley pitched five innings, giving up 11 hits, six runs and no walks while striking out four.

Rockland continues its run toward the playoffs on Tuesday in game two against Québec. Gametime is 11:00 a.m.
