
Kranson HR Is Bright Spot in 5-2 Loss

Lookouts first baseman Mitchell Kranson smacked his first Double-A home run in the team's 5-2 loss against Montgomery.
Kranson's homer came in the bottom of the second with the team down one run. The blast tied the game up at one. Montgomery seized the lead right back in the third on a two run dinger by Nick Solak. The home team tacked one on in the fourth, but the offense did not muster any more runs.
In the defeat Brent Rooker extended his MiLB record home on-base streak to 42 games with a single. Reliever Andrew Vasquez shined in relief tonight, going 2.1 hitless innings with four strikeouts to bring his ERA to 1.29 on the year.
For Montgomery, starter Benton Moss notched a quality start by only surrendering two runs in six innings. Curtis Taylor earned only allowed one hit in relief over three innings while compiling five strikeouts.
RHP Sean Poppen is getting the start for Chattanooga tomorrow against Brandon Lawson. Game time for Autograph Sunday is 2:15 p.m.
