
Kozlowski, OâÃâ¬Ãâ¢grady, Power Keene To 9-3 Victory Over Laconia

Keene Swamp Bats News Release
The Swamp Bats kept up their stellar form in July, defeating the Laconia Muskrats 9-3 at Alumni Field on Friday night.
Keene got another solid performance from their starter out of Hofstra University, Nick Kozlowski.
Kozlowski went six strong innings, surrendering two runs on four hits and a walk and also had four strikeouts along the way.
The offense had it going again as well, scratching across eight runs on 15 hits.
Brain O'Grady, Rutgers, had a big night, smashing two solo shots as he finished 2/5 with 2 RBI.
Other notable Swamp Bats were Matt Ford, Hofstra, and JP Sportman, Central Connecticut State University, and Daniel Nichols, University of Georgia, who all went 2-4 on the night. Ryan Lukach, Hartford, went 2-5 with an RBI and Kent State's Tommy Monnot had a big night as well, going 3-5.
Matthew Clancy, St. Johns, came on for an inning of relief in the seventh and threw a perfect frame.
Jordan Simons, Louisville, came on to pitch the final two innings, and did so while only giving up one run, to secure the 9-3 victory.
The win improves Keene's record to 23-15 on the season and 20-4 in July. The Danbury Westerners will come to Alumni Field tomorrow night to face off for the last time this regular season against the Swamp Bats. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
