February 15, 2008 - The Knoxville Ice Bears are pleased to announce that the February 16th game against the Columbus Cottonmouths will be re-broadcast on My VLT2 on February 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This is the first Ice Bears game to be aired on television.
Ice Bears General Manager Mike Murray said, "this is a huge step for our organization. It is a great opportunity to expose new fans to the sport and to remind current fans to come support their team. We appreciate the dedication of partners, like WVLT and Alpha Beta Productions. Without them, this would not be possible."
Viewers can watch the game on Comcast channel 8, Charter channel 15, DirectTV channel 30 and on Knology channel 8. MyVLT 2 is the sister station of WVLT Volunteer TV, a CBS affiliate.
