Knoxville Ice Bears Announce Fan Photo Submission Contest

Knoxville, TN - The Knoxville are officially kicking off the "10th Anniversary Season" Fan Photo Contest.

The Ice Bears are kicking off the third installment of the 10th Anniversary Season marketing campaign with a photo contest for our fans. The Ice Bears are encouraging fans to submit photographs focusing on landmarks within the Greater Knoxville Region, while prominently displaying the fans themselves-decked out in their Ice Bears' gear. A panel of judges will select the 28 best submissions, which will then be placed on the individual game tickets in the Season Ticket Booklets for the 2011-12 season. The panel of judges will also select a "best photo," which will be featured on the ticket front of the ticket book. The winner of the "best photo" will receive a prize pack from the Knoxville Ice Bears and will be presented to the fan prior to the start of the game on October 21, 2011.

In addition to the ticket books, all submitted photos will be displayed on www.knoxvilleicebears.com in the photo gallery, placed on display outside the Knoxville Ice Bears front office and select photos will be displayed on the video board throughout the season.

Photos submitted for the "10th Anniversary Season" Photo Fan Contest can run the gamut of possibilities. The location of the fan photos can be from Knoxville Ice Bears home and road games, local area land marks, family outings, national and international locations. The photo must display the Knoxville Ice Bears logo prominently in order to be considered as a valid submission.

Fans can submit their photos via email to groups@knoxvilleicebears.com, or by mail to Knoxville Ice Bears, Attn: Photo Contest, 500 Howard Baker Jr Drive, Knoxville, TN 37915. All photos must be submitted with a photo release, which may be obtained by clicking here or by calling (865) 525-7825. Deadline for receiving the photos for the "10th Anniversary Season" Photo Contest is midnight on Friday, September 2, 2011.

Season Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for as little as $43 per month, call the Ice Bears office at 865-525-7825 to reserve yours Knoxville Ice Bears open the season on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 7:30 pm.
