Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights News Release
The WBS Knights of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that graduating forward Carson Knop has committed to play collegiate hockey for Lawrence University.
He will be joining fellow Knight Matt Beranek in the Lawrence hockey program.
Knop, the Lake Bluff, IL native, tallied 13 goals and 14 assists in 42 games for the Knights this past season.
"We are very grateful to Carson and how hard he played for us this past season," noted head coach Tom Kowal. "Carson was one of those veteran guys we added that really helped us turn our season around. He battled through a shoulder injury and you could see our team was not the same when he was out of the lineup. We wish him well and know he is going to have an outstanding collegiate hockey career."
Knop is the tenth player to have secured his college commitment and played for the expansion Knights hockey club this season.
The Knight's organization wish Carson all the best!
