Cullen Barber
Round 4, Pick 79
In the fourth round of this year's NAHL Draft with the 79th pick overall, the Minnesota Magicians selected goaltender Cullen Barber of Livonia-Stevenson High School in Michigan.
Barber hails from Livonia, Michigan where he has been an All-State goaltender for the past two seasons. During his junior season, he started 13 games and compiled a 1.71 Goals Against Average (GAA) and a .925 Save Percentage (SV%). In his most recent season he was stellar yet again, posting a 1.73 GAA and a .925 SV%. Barber will be competing to earn a spot as the Magicians #1 goaltender in the upcoming season.
Speaking about Barber, Magicians Head Coach and General Manager said, "Cullen is a mobile and athletic goalie from Michigan HS. We like the way he plays the position, his size, and movement in the crease."
The Magicians will host their 2016 Main Camp at Richfield Ice Arena from July 22nd through July 24th. Season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now at the Magicians online store, call 612-861-9356 or email info@minnesotamagicians.com!
