Goaltender Seeley Makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Minnesota Magicians, formerly of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that goaltender Josh Seeley has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Bentley University in Atlantic Hockey.

Seeley, 21, just completed his second and final season playing in the NAHL, which was spent between the Minnesota Magicians and Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks.

The 6'4/201 lbs. native of Trenton, MI, began the 2021-22 season in Danbury with the Jr. Hat Tricks, where he appeared in 26 games and posted a 6-17-2 record with a 4.09 goals against average and a .987 save percentage.

At the trade deadline, Seeley was traded to the Minnesota Magicians. In 13 games with the Magicians in 2021-22, Seeley posted a 4-3-3 record with a 3.21 goals against average and a .911 save percentage. He was named the Midwest Division Star of the Week for March 7-13, 2022.

"I am extremely honored and excited to announce my commitment to further my education and play Division 1 hockey at Bentley University. I'd like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and especially Jesus Christ for supporting me through it all. #gofalcons," stated Seeley.

During the 2020-21 season in the NAHL, Seeley posted an 8-8-3 record in 20 games with Danbury. He was named the NAHL's Goaltender of the Month in February of 2021 and finished with a 3.43 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.
