
Knights continue unbeaten

LONDON, Ont. â The London Knights scored twice in the second period to erase a 1-0 deficit on their way to a 4-1 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 8,969 at the John Labatt Centre. Corey Perry paced the London attack with a goal and an assist. Danny Syvret, Frank Rediker and Mark Methot rounded out the Knights' scoring. Rob Schremp collected two assists. Rob Hisey scored the lone Otters goal to extend his point-scoring streak to 12 games (7-12-19). Erie dropped to 8-4-1-1 with the loss. London improved to 14-0-1. The Otters led 1-0 after one. London carried a 2-1 lead into the third. The Knights out shot the Otters 51-18 in the game as Josh Disher saw his two-game winning streak come to an end. The three stars of the game were 1. Perry; 2. Schremp and 3. Disher.
The next Otters home game takes place on Friday (November 5th) when the Toronto St. Michael's Majors (5-6-3-1) visit the Tullio Arena sponsored by Rocket 101. The first 1,000 fans into the game receive a free Erie Otters/Rocket 101 decal. Saturday (November 6th) the Otters welcome the Barrie Colts (6-5-1-2 heading into their game tonight against Sault Ste. Marie) to the Tullio Arena for a 7:30 p.m. start. The first 1,000 fans into the game receive a free breakfast coupon courtesy of McDonld's.
