Scouting the Knighthawks: Rochester can get right back in the playoff hunt as it opens the second half of the season with three straight East Division games over an eight-day stretch. The Knighthawks, who are currently 2-7, play Georgia twice and finish with a road game in Toronto on Saturday, March 16. Rochester enters the game after falling 16-9 to the Buffalo Bandits on Feb. 22. Cody Jamieson led the offense with five points (1+4), while Graeme Hossack (1+2), Austin Shanks (2+1) and Cory Vitarelli (0+3) each finished the contest with three points. In goal, Angus Goodleaf made 42 saves. Another bright spot was the return of veteran defenseman Billy Dee Smith. The 17-year pro signed with the team late last week and jumped right into the lineup against Buffalo.

Nines are Wild: Five Knighthawks have nine-game point streaks this season: Joe Resetarits, Austin Shanks, Cory Vitarelli, Kyle Jackson and Cody Jamieson.

Milestone Watch:

- Scott Campbell is one game away from tying Hall of Famer John Grant Jr. for fourth in team history in games played with 140.

- Joe Resetarits needs one goal to reach 150 in his career.

- Mike Burke is one point away from 50 in his career.

Player Moves: The Knighthawks made five player moves this week, which included promoting defenseman Luke Van Schepen and forward Brandon Robinson to the active roster. In a pair of related moves, Rochester placed defenseman James Barclay and forward Eric Fannell on the practice roster. The Knighthawks also moved defenseman Leland Powless from the Physically Unable to Perform List to the Hold Out List.

Scouting the Swarm: Georgia enters the game with a 7-4 record and is just two games behind division-leading Buffalo. The Swarm, however, have dropped their last two contests, which include losses to Buffalo and Colorado. In the East Division, the Swarm rank second in goals scored (128) and goals allowed (128). Offensively, Georgia has two of the top weapons in the league in Lyle Thompson and Randy Staats, who are tied for fourth in the NLL in points. Staats is also third in assists with 42, while Thompson is second in goals (29). Goalie Mike Poulin is second in the NLL with 393 saves.
