Kitchener Rangers Set for Under-18 Priority Selection

April 10, 2019 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - Kitchener Rangers News Release

The third annual OHL Under-18 Priority Selection is set to commence at 7:00pm on Wednesday April 10, 2019, where no fewer than 40 players born in 2001 and 2002 will be chosen from Midget AAA programs from across the province.

"There is no specific timeline on the development of a hockey player," said Joe Birch, OHL Senior Director of Hockey Development and Special Events. "The OHL Under-18 Priority Selection benefits players who have taken advantage of Midget AAA programs to further their overall hockey development."
