Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott has announced that the Rangers have made a trade with the Oshawa Generals. In the deal the Rangers acquire Niagara's 3rd round pick in 2009 and Oshawa's 8th round pick in 2012 in return for the Rangers' 2nd round pick in 2011 and Oshawa's 15th round pick in 2010.
This move gives the Rangers 13 picks in Saturday's 2009 OHL Draft including four within the first 47 selections. The Rangers also hold the third overall pick.
