Kinston Indians News Release
Potomac Power- The P-Nats nine runs last night were a season-high allowed by K-Tribe pitching. Potomac scored five runs off of starter T.J. McFarland, which were the most runs given up by a Kinston pitcher in a single outing all season. The Nationals' four-run first inning was the biggest inning for an Indians opponent this year.
Sixth Sense - Kinston would win their sixth consecutive series with a win in tonight's rubber game. They only won 1 out of their first 8 series this season. The K-Tribe is 7-7 in series finales and 3-3 in rubber games. They have won their last two rubber games in extra innings, needing 12 innings to beat Frederick 2-1 on Sunday, and beat the P-Nats 3-2 on a walk-off single by Abner Abreu in 10 innings back on Sunday May 9 in Kinston.
