Go Johnny Go - Johnny Drennen hit his first home run of the season yesterday...J.D. had 13 home runs in 2007, spending all year with the K-Tribe. Drennen is on a five game hit streak and is hopefully getting out of a two month funk. Drennen was hitting .291 going into June, but hit .194 in June and is hitting just .203 in July.
Goedert Going Again - Kinston clean-up man Jared Goedert had his 28th multi-hit game of the season last night, the most on the K-Tribe team.

Six Pack Full of Action - Kinston has scored 74 runs in the sixth inning this season, the most of any inning this season. On the flip side Kinston opponents have scored a total of 67 runs in the sixth, the most of any inning this year.
A Darn Good Run - Potomac notched its 10th victory against the K-Tribe last night, assuring at least a season series tie with Kinston this year. It ends a great run for the K-Tribe, as the Indians have won the season series against every other team in the Carolina League in both the '06 and '07 season. In 2005, Kinston lost season series to Winston-Salem and Wilmington.
Good Morning America in Kinston - A crew from Good Morning America will be shooting a story at Historic Grainger Stadium on Wednesday, July 30th to air on GMA Weekend at a later date.
