
Kings Win In The Bottom Of the Ninth

The Kings beat the Evansville Otters tonight by a score of 12-11 in a come from behind victory in the bottom of the ninth when Pete Pirman hit a two-run to win the game. Leading the offense was Pete Pirman who went 4-5 with three RBI's. Louis Espinoza, Carlos Sepulveda and Fehlandt Lentini each had three hits apiece on the night. Brandon Rogers and Darryl Blaze each had two hits on the night while Casey DeGroote came on in the sixth to pinch hit and hit a three-run homerun to bring the Kings within one run. Lee Naplin was the starting pitcher going 4 1/3 innings giving up seven hits and five runs while striking out three. Justin Keeling got the win tonight improving his record to 2-2 going 1 1/3 giving up three hits and stiking out two. The Kings are now two and half games up on Evansville and are building momentum going into the next series against Washington. The Kings are on the road for the next six games taking on Washington and then heading to Florence.
