KINGS WIN 6-5 - The Kalamazoo Kings won their inaugural game against the Lake Erie Crushers 6-5 Tuesday. After a groggy start and allowing 2 runs in the top of the first, John Brownell locked in and pitched 7 innings to pick up his 4th win. Tommy Mejia came in after the Crushers loaded the bases with no outs and got a double play followed up by a strikeout, then struck out 2 of the 3 Crusher batters in the ninth to earn his fourth save. On the offensive side, DH Brendan Murphy followed up his 2 HR day on Sunday by going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI.
