
$1 Beers, Fireworks, Hats Highlight Homestand

LOVES PARK, Ill. - Tickets are going fast for the much-anticipated homestand at Road Ranger Stadium, June 9-14. There is something for everybody as the Rockford RiverHawks take on Windy City ThunderBolts and the Gateway Grizzlies.
The game on Tuesday, June 9, starts at 7:05 p.m. It is Faith Night with a pregame and postgame concert from TLC. Fans can enjoy a Christian atmosphere while taking in the ballgame against Windy City.
Wednesday's game is Family Value Night. Families can purchase four outfield box tickets, four hotdogs and four sodas for $40. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Thursday is Miller Lite Dollar Beer Night. Fans 21 and over can enjoy an ice-cold draft of Miller products for $1. It is also Jimmy Buffett Night. Fans are encouraged to go through the closet and pick out that Hawaiian shirt that comes out annually for this night. Get your tickets early for the 7:05 p.m. start.
On Friday night, June 11, the 'Hawks welcome in the Gateway Grizzlies with another postgame FatWallet.com Friday Night Fireworks Show. The game begins at 7:05 p.m.
The first 1,000 fans who arrive early for Saturday night's contest receive a RiverHawks mesh hat compliments of the Power Connection and WIFR. The first pitch is at 6:05 p.m.
The homestand concludes Sunday at 4:05 p.m. with Photo Day. Fans may bring a camera and get a photo taken with RiverHawks players and coaches. It is also the U.S. Army birthday celebration. Fans will have a chance to climb the rock wall, have dog tags made and even meet G.I. Johnny. Following the game, all kids can run the bases and get autographs. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. for the matchup against Gateway.

The Rockford RiverHawks are the most highly attended minor-league baseball team in the Stateline. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league playing its 17th season this summer.
