Soo Greyhounds alumni JACOB MUZZIN has been named the NHL Rookie of the Month for March earlier today.
The Woodstock, ON product is in his 1st full season with the LA Kings afer spending the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons with their AHL affiliate club, the Manchester Monarchs.
In 17 games played in March, Muzzin had 4 goals and 11 assists to go along with a +10 rating.
Muzzin played four season for the Hounds spanning the 2006-07 to 2009-10 seasons while spending his last year of the club.
