June 4, 2003 - Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
In front of 5,107 for our second elementary schools day the Kalamazoo Kings lost 11-3 to the Evansville Otters.
The Otters came out with loud bats scoring sevens runs in the first inning. In the bottom of the first the Kings made a tiny dent in the scoring with a RBI single from Matt Kent and a fielder's choice RBI from Daniel Adair. The only other run the Kings were able to get was in the fifth inning from Kent who doubled to score Chris Carter. The loss was charged to Denny McGee resulting in his third of the season.
The final game of the series will be tomorrow at 6:35, June 5, when the Kings try to take two out of three from the Otters.
