The Kalamazoo Kings were defeated by the Washington Wild Things by a score of 4-1.

Jared Howton got the win for the Wild Things and Anthony Kozol got the save. Denny McGee took the loss for the Kings.

Washington got things going in the 2nd inning when Jay Coakley hit a two-run homerun. The Kings showed signs of life in the bottom of the fifth when Chris Carter walked to bring in Tim Frankhouse. The Kings and Wild Things will resume their three game series tomorrow night at Homer Stryker Field and game time is 5:35 p.m.
