Today, August 10, 2003, the Kalamazoo Kings took on the Gateway Grizzlies.
In the bottom of the fourth the Kings tied up the game with a RBI double by Tim Frankhouse and a RBI single by Mat Kent. Frankhouse is now 7-11 as a designated hitter. The Kings then permanently took the lead 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth with a bunt single by Daryl Blaze and an error on the play scored Sam Flamont. David McWatters got the win for the Kings. It was his second complete game of the year.
The Kalamazoo Kings take on the Gateway Grizzlies tomorrow on Ladies Night in the final game in this homestead. All ladies get in free.
