"King's Cup" Trophy Unveiled for "Elvis Night" Tomorrow vs. Memphis

March 25, 2022 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Las Vegas Lights FC News Release

Las Vegas, NV - He's simply known as "Elvis" around the world - and this Saturday his "hometowns" battle off against each other in a match named in his honor presented by Hard Rock Cafe. In an honor unbeknownst to anyone else prior at a Lights FC match, this Saturday's match-up will simply be all about the one, the only, the king, the legend, Mr. Elvis Presley.

Today it was also announced that the winner of the match will receive the "King's Cup" trophy. It will be awarded post-match on-field by none other than an Elvis impersonator (with his pink Cadillac next to him!).

All fans either named "Elvis" or just simply dressed up as Elvis are eligible to receive a free match ticket. Individuals looking to take advantage of this offer should proceed to the Cashman Field stadium gates to receive their free general admission entry.

At halftime, fans dressed as Elvis will be invited onto the field to participate in a dance competition where the winner will receive a free "staycation" prize pack at the Westgate Resort & Casino where Elvis performed over 100+ shows in his illustrious career.

Saturday's match features the second home match of the season. Lights FC is coming off a resounding victory over previous first place Phoenix Rising SC in its home opener last weekend. Lights FC plays four home matches over the next five weekends (March 26, April 9, 16 & 23). The April 9th match will be held as a doubleheader with Lights FC playing Colorado Springs and UNLV Women's Soccer team facing the University of Arizona's Women's Soccer team.

Tickets for all matches are on-sale now at LightsFC.com/Tickets. For group ticket information, please contact Tickets@LasVegasLightsFC.com.
