RGV FC Partners with Academy Sports + Outdoors

EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC and Academy Sports + Outdoors join forces to show appreciation to women in professional sport and entertainment. The event is set to take place on Tuesday, March 29 at 11am.
The partnership will provide eight women within the RGV FC organization the opportunity to go on a shopping spree totaling $2,000 at Academy Sports & Outdoors located at 500 N Jackson Road, in Pharr, TX.
Rio Grande Valley FC is a professional soccer club which competes in the USL Championship League, the top division of the United Soccer League. The Toros organization proudly provides equal opportunity for growth in the sport and entertainment industry to women and minorities.
Representatives from Academy Sports + Outdoors will be present at the event and will be made available for comment upon request.
Women's History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
