King of the Cage Coming to The Diamond

Lake Elsinore, CA- The Storm will play host to mixed martial arts global powerhouse King of the Cage on Saturday, May 16, 2009. People of all ages are welcome to attend with tickets starting at $45 and maxing out at $125.

Over 22 professional cage fighters are on the May 16 bill. There will be no less than 12 hard hitting, NHB, Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fights in one night. Punches, knees, submissions and knock outs are on the menu for the best fights MMA has to offer in Southern California.

Four main events are scheduled to bring some of the most hard-hitting MMA fighters, from the Inland Empire, to The Diamond in Lake Elsinore. Heavy Weight and Lt. Heavyweight Champion, Tony "Kryptonite" Lopez, Super Heavy Weight Champion Neil "Chaos" Cooke, Keith, "The KO KID" Berry, Greg Guzman, Rick Legere, Fernando Gonzales, and J. Kling are all slated to participate on the main events card.

Local Lake Elsinore favorite Joe Crilly will also be part of the main event card as he brings amazing speed and heavy hands, with a long history of Knockouts and Technical Knockouts as well.

Undercard bouts for the evening are loaded with local favorites such as Ruben Tagle, Miguel Cosio, Ruben Duran, Chris Culley, Aaron Miller, Adam Rothwiler, Illiam Goglia, Bryan Colebrook, Victor Rodarte, Zane Whitsfield, Kevin Sauer, Nikko Medina, Eric Jones, Erik Meadors, Daniel Hernandez and Johnny Hart.

Terry Trebilcock, President of King of the Cage stated "I have seen many baseball stadiums in many states and countries but none as nice as the Storm. We are looking to make The Diamond our premier Southern California outdoor venue that has the capacity to hold over 13,000 fight fans for our events. We have put together some epic match-ups on this fight card that will make for an amazing inaugural event at the Storm."
