King and His Court return to Fraser Field

May 9, 2006 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
North Shore Spirit News Release

The King is back! Eddie Feigner, the world's greatest softball pitcher, will once again stop by Fraser Field on Friday, June 9th to give Spirit fans and area softball fans a royal treat on the baseball diamond.

The King and His Court is a world famous four-person softball team. They have won 9,000 games in more than 100 countries and the King has fired 930 no-hitters. Feigner's fastball, clocked at 104 mph, was named one of the ten greatest pitches of all time by ESPN.

The King, who now narrates, coaches, and demonstrates his pitching art during the show, is still an intricate part of the action. On June 9th, the Court will take on the Spirit All Stars, a collection of talented players from throughout the North Shore.

The game of great skill and comedy will raise money for the Joey Fund, which helps the cystic fibrosis foundation. Last season, the King and His Court dazzled the Fraser Field faithful with the antics on the field. Don't miss out on this opportunity to see this unique display of softball skill.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. and gates will open at 6:00. Tickets, which cost $6 for adults and $4 for children, are on sale now at the Spirit Box Office located at 365 Western Ave. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone at 781-592-0007 ext. 211.
