
Kindle Traded to Trenton for Cash

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the new ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, announced that defenseman Tyler Kindle has been traded to the Trenton Titans for cash. Also, the Springfield Falcons have assigned center Peter Fregoe to the Ice Pilots and the Hershey Bears have assigned left wing Evgeni Artukhin (pronounced Are-Too-kin) to the Ice Pilots.
Fregoe, who stands 5'9" and weighs 185 pounds, has played in 32 games with Trenton this season scoring 8 goals, 6 assists for 14 points and has picked up 18 penalty minutes. He played in 4 games last season with the Florence Pride scoring 1 goal, 2 assists for 3 points and picked up 4 penalty minutes.
Fregoe played his college hockey at Providence from 1999-2003 playing in 147 games scoring 68 goals, 80 assists for 148 points and picked up 127 penalty minutes. He also played in the USHL from Des-Moines from 1996-1999. Fregoe is 25 years old from Massena, New York and shoots left.
Artukhin, who stands 6'5" and weighs 237 pounds, has played in 26 games with the Hershey Bears this season scoring 2 goals, 2 assists for 4 points and has picked up 59 penalty minutes. He played in 53 games for Moncton last year in the QMJHL scoring 13 goals, 27 assists for 40 points and picked up 204 penalty minutes.
Artukhin played in 24 games for Podolsk in Russia during the 2000-2001 season picking up one assist and fourteen penalty minutes. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the third round and was the 94th player taken overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Artukhin is 20 years old from Moscow, Russia and shoots left.
Kindle played in 36 games for the Ice Pilots this season scoring 7 goals, 6 assists for 13 points and picked up 28 penalty minutes.
The Ice Pilots play home tomorrow night and Saturday night vs. the Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m. Tomorrow night is Military Appreciation Night. The Ice Pilots will honor all branches of the military. All military will receive up to a $5 discount on tickets with I.D. The first 1,000 fans will receive a mini American Cheer Flag. The Flying Rifles Drill Team will perform. Two lucky military students will have a chance to win a free airline ticket home courtesy of Air Tran and Abbott Resorts and a wing eating contest will take place.
Saturday night is NASCAR Night sponsored by Hill Kelly Dodge. Bill Elliot's number 9 NASCAR will be on display along with other local racing cars. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free racing flag and fans wearing NASCAR shirts or hats will receive $2 off a ticket at the Civic Center box office.
