
Killer Bees too much for shorthanded RiverKings

HIDALGO, TX --- Matic Kralj scored two goals as the Rio Grand Valley Killer Bees sent the Memphis RiverKings to heir fourth consecutive loss 7-3 Saturday night at the Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, TX.
The RiverKings played most of the game with just 12 skaters after winger Brad Wanchulak was given a game misconduct. Before the game, the RiverKings lost the services of Paul Mcbrien, who was suspended for three games due to his accumulated game misconducts after picking up two last night at Laredo.
Rio Grande Valley out shot the RiverKings 44-23 and went four for five on the power play while the RiverKings converted one of six chances.
Tim Plett, Travis Bang and Ryan Watson scored the goal for Memphis. The RiverKings continue their road trip Tuesday night at Bossier Shreveport for the first of two with the Mudbugs at 7:05.
