Killer Bees Sign Forward Reid Edmondson
November 15, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, announced on Tuesday the signing of forward Reid Edmondson. Edmondson suited up for Head Coach Terry Ruskowski with the Laredo Bucks last season.
Edmondson started the season in training camp of the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL before turning his sights to the Valley. Last year Edmondson scored 10 goals with five assists in his rookie rampaging.
Before his time in Laredo, Edmondson suited up for Robert Morris University and the Burnaby Express of the British Columbia Hockey League.
"I am very familiar with Reid because of our time in Laredo last season," said Bees General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski." He is a good puck moving center with great size, both assets we need."
The Killer Bees are in action four times this week starting tonight and tomorrow hosting the Allen Americans at the State Farm Arena. This weekend the Laredo Bucks make their first regular season visit of the season to the Hive at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
