Allen's Brian Mahoney-Wilson Named Oakley CHL Goalie of the Week

TEMPE, AZ (November 15, 2011) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Allen's Brian Mahoney-Wilson has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending November 13, 2011.

The West Roxbury, Massachusetts native was unbeaten in two road starts last stopping 60 of 62 shots faced (.968 save percentage).
On Wednesday night, the 5-11, 190-pound net minder played like an all-star stopping 32 of 33 shots and helping his team kill off all five penalties they faced. He earned second star recognition that night as the Americans beat the Killer Bees 3-1. He took this confidence to Laredo for Friday night's matchup where he stopped 28 of 29 shots, killing all three power plays he faced and earned first star honors in the 6-1 win over the Bucks.
Allen enters play this week on a four-game win streak and a 5-2-2 record.
Brian Mahoney-Wilson has a 3-1-0 record this season recording 60 percent of of his team's wins. He is fifth in the league with a 2.50 G.A.A. and sixth in the league with a .917 SV%.
