Kids Sit Anywhere for Five Dollars
December 12, 2002 - NBA G League (G League)
Greenville Groove News Release
Greenville, SC - ScheerSports, Inc. Chairman and CEO Carl Scheer announced today that for the remainder of the home Greenville Groove games kids 14 and under will be able to sit anywhere for five dollars. Scheer is looking to make Groove games an affordable option for family entertainment in the upstate of South Carolina.
"There are so many great options for family entertainment in Greenville," added Carl Scheer. "Families enjoy the basketball games at the BI-LO Center. By allowing children to sit anywhere for only five dollars we are hoping that more children in our community can enjoy NBDL basketball."
In their second month of play in the 2002-2003 season the Greenville Groove is 6-5, and currently in second place. Head Coach Tree Rollins is happy about the addition to the already affordable Groove ticket plans. "Kids are such great fans to have at a basketball game, the enthusiasm they show for the team is always contagious," commented Rollins.
