Greenville, SC - Roanoke defeated Greenville 91-89 in double overtime in NBDL action on Friday night at the BI-LO Center. Roanoke improves to 20-19 on the season, while Greenville falls to 17-22.
Mikki Moore led the Roanoke attack with 26 points and 16 rebounds. The Dazzle center went 8-16 from the field and 10-13 from the free throw line.
Cory Alexander chipped in 19 points and had 5 steals. Jamal Robinson and Mike King also contributed double figures for the Dazzle.
Lynn Greer led the Groove with 19 points and three assists in 26 minutes of play. Billy Thomas had 18 points and nine rebounds. Soumaila Samake had a double-double on the night with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Greg Gray added 10 points tot he Groove effort.
The next Greenville Groove home game will be on Wednesday, March 5th at 7:00 pm against the Asheville Altitude.
