Greenville, SC - Greenville defeated Asheville 102-95 in NBDL action Wednesday night at the BI-LO Center. Asheville fell to 20-24 with the loss, while Greenville improves to 19-23.
Veterans Donald Hand and Billy Thomas led the Groove with 23 points each. Hand also dished out 6 assists, and went 6-7 from the free throw line. Tory Walker was named the player of the game with 20 points, going 4-6 on 3-point attempts.
Gray Williams led the Altitude attack with 19 points and 4 rebounds. Brandon Kurtz and Lee Scruggs each collected 7 rebounds. The Altitude team was given out nine technical fouls, 6 individual and 3 defensive 3-second violations.
The next Greenville Groove home game will be on Friday, March 7th at 7:00 pm against the Huntsville Flight.
