RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce that Lesotho National Team forward, Sunny Jane, has agreed to terms for the 2016 season.

"Sunny is a dynamic attacking player who impressed greatly while at Maryland and most recently with Wilmington," commented Leigh Cowlishaw, Richmond Kickers Director of Soccer. "I know he is eager to prove he can be a standout player in the USL and we look forward to having him join the squad."

Jane returns to the USL this season after a two-year stint with the Wilmington Hammerheads. He made 41 appearances with the Kickers' rivals and tallied seven goals and three assists.

Capped four times by the Lesotho National Team, Jane most recently competed in the Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) Tournament in South Africa in May 2015 and is currently participating in the January training camp in Lesotho.

Relocating to the United States at the age of 13, the native of Mosotho, Lesotho was an All-State Player for Trinity High School in Louisville before becoming a standout at the University of Maryland. An All-ACC Second Team selection 2011, he recorded eight goals and 19 assists over four seasons with the Terrapins.
