Omaha, Nebraska – In the 3 years that Chase Long has been a member of the Omaha Beef football team, stunning numbers have been put up year after year. Long holds the record for the longest kick in NIFL history with a 60-yard field goal. Last season he led the kickers in the NIFL with 157pts only to be close to repeating the same feat this year. Chase Long right now is 5th in the league in all categories of scoring with 136pts. He is also standing-alone in the leading category of kickers with 46-47 (97.9%) in PAT's and 30-49 (61.2%) in Field Goals made. The next person even close to Long has attempted 56 field goals but has only been able to make 23 of them with a percent of 41.1.

Long has been able to grab the Player of the Week award two times so far this year and the Special Teams Player of the Week award three times. In last week's game, Long was nearly perfect completing 4 out of 5 field goal's from 20, 36, 37 and 42. He completed all 6 of his extra points and contributing 18 of the 54 points in last weeks shut out. Long plans to head to training camp this year with an NFL team hoping to make a spot on the roster as a Kicker.
